About the Kylian Mbappé quiz
Kylian Mbappé is the phenomenon who arrived fully formed and never slowed down — the teenager who looked like a finished superstar before he could legally sign his own contracts. This free Mbappé quiz runs the whole arc: the 16-year-old who became Monaco's youngest-ever debutant and tore Europe apart on the way to their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years, the €180m move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 that made him the second-most-expensive footballer on earth, the seven trophy-laden seasons that left him PSG's all-time top scorer, and the free transfer to Real Madrid in 2024 that he'd chased for years. And through it all, a World Cup winner at 19. If you know which club Real Madrid prised him away from — and for what fee — this quiz is for you.
The defining moments come thick and fast. On 15 July 2018, aged 19, he scored in the World Cup final against Croatia to become the second teenager after Pelé to find the net in the showpiece, and left Russia with a winner's medal and the Best Young Player award. Four years later, on 18 December 2022, he produced one of the great individual performances in a losing cause — a hat-trick in the final against Argentina, the first treble in a World Cup final since Geoff Hurst in 1966 — only for France to fall on penalties. He still took the Golden Boot. Then the cruellest twist of all: he left Paris in 2024, and the very next season PSG won their first-ever Champions League, thrashing Inter 5-0, before retaining it in 2026. As of 2026 the biggest prize in club football still eludes him — even as he swept the Pichichi and the European Golden Shoe in his debut Madrid campaign and finished the 2025-26 season as the Champions League's top scorer.
Expect the full spread. The quiz climbs from the gentle — which country does he play for, which Spanish giant signed him in 2024 — through the era-defining transfers and fees, the managers and the trophies, right up to the deep cuts: the exact margin of his record-breaking free transfer, the club he became all-time leading scorer for and the goal tally he set there, the tournament records, and the moment he overtook Olivier Giroud to become France's all-time top scorer. If you can place the dates on the two World Cup finals and name the opponents, you're already ahead of most.
Every question comes with a short explained answer, so you learn the story behind the record rather than just ticking a box. Play the sample set below free in your browser, no sign-up. If you want more, the full Ball IQ app has 4,000+ questions plus daily challenges and multiplayer.
