Answers — round 1
- El Volcán — The stadium on the UANL campus is known as El Volcán (The Volcano). It opened in 1967 and hosted five matches at the 1986 World Cup.
- Carlos Miloc — Uruguayan Carlos Miloc also won the 1981-82 title with Tigres.
- UNAM — Tigres beat Cruz Azul in the semi-finals, then beat UNAM 2-0 and drew 1-1 to win the final 3-1 on aggregate.
- Atlante — Atlante and Tigres finished 2-2 on aggregate after the second leg at the Estadio Azteca, and Tigres won the shoot-out 3-1.
- Tomás Boy — Gignac's goal against Pumas on 4 August 2019 was his 105th for the club, taking him past Tomás Boy. He had already passed Walter Gaitán's 80 goals in 2018.
- Monterrey — Losing 2-1 to their city rivals Monterrey sent Tigres down, and the match became known as the 'Clásico del Descenso'.
- Atlas — Tigres beat Atlas for their second Copa México, weeks before going down to Primera División A.
- Robert Dante Siboldi — Siboldi stayed after the 1996 relegation and helped win promotion within a year. He took over as coach on 10 April 2023 and won the title that May.
- Sebastián Córdova — Sebastián Córdova scored in the 1-1 first leg and got the only goal of the second, finishing the Liguilla with five goals in six games.
- Santos Laguna — Tigres won 1-0 in Torreón and 3-1 at home on 11 December 2011.

- Five — Ferretti won the Apertura 2011, Apertura 2015, Apertura 2016, Apertura 2017 and Clausura 2019 with Tigres, plus the 2020 CONCACAF Champions League.
- Cádiz — The Argentine playmaker arrived from Cádiz and stayed until 2014, winning the league's Golden Ball in both Clausura 2011 and Apertura 2011.
- Héctor Mancilla — Chilean striker Héctor Mancilla completed the 'Fantastic Four' and scored in the Apertura 2011 final.
- Hugo Ayala — After Diego Rossi put LAFC ahead, centre-back Hugo Ayala equalised in the 72nd minute and Gignac won it six minutes before full time.

- Francisco Meza — After Dorlan Pabón put Monterrey ahead early, Vargas equalised with a shot from outside the box and Francisco Meza headed the winner from a corner minutes later at the Estadio BBVA.
- Monterrey — It was the first league final between Tigres and Monterrey. Tigres drew 1-1 at home and won 2-1 at the Estadio BBVA.
- Pachuca — Tigres reportedly paid about $10 million for the speedy winger from Pachuca. He won the Apertura 2015, 2016 and 2017 and the Clausura 2019 titles.
- Sevilla — Pizarro joined Sevilla in July 2017 and came back to Tigres in June 2018. He won four league titles with Tigres, but not the Apertura 2017.
