  1. 1909 — Founded on 4 April 1909 — and just over three months later came the first Gre-Nal.
  2. São Paulo — The Poppe brothers came from São Paulo and, finding the city's existing clubs open only to those of German descent, started one open to all nationalities.
  3. Grêmio won 10-0 — Grêmio 10-0 at the Estádio da Baixada on 18 July 1909 — still the heaviest scoreline the derby has ever produced.
  4. Estádio dos Eucaliptos — The Eucaliptos, Inter's ground from 1931, even hosted matches at the 1950 World Cup before the club moved to the riverside.
  5. Benfica — Benfica, with Eusébio scoring for the visitors; Claudiomiro got the stadium's first-ever goal and Gilson Porto the winner.

  1. Dario — Dario — 'Dadá Maravilha' — opened the scoring on 29 minutes before Valdomiro added the second after the break.
  2. Vasco da Gama — Vasco — 2-0 away, then 2-1 at the Beira-Rio — to close a 23-match campaign of 16 wins and 7 draws.
  3. Grêmio — Grêmio, in 1981 — and he won it a third time with Coritiba in 1985, a national title with each of three different clubs.
