How the Corinthians quiz is checked
Every question above was written by hand and verified before it went live.
All 36 Corinthians questions were checked twice before publication — once against the claim the question makes, and once against the wrong answers offered beside it. A question whose wrong options can be dismissed without knowing any football is not really a question, so those get rewritten or dropped rather than padded out. Anything that could not be confirmed was removed rather than guessed, which is why some sets are smaller than others. Every one of them carries a written explanation. Spot something wrong and tell us — corrections from players are how the bank stays accurate.

About the Corinthians quiz
Corinthians are the club of the São Paulo working class, and their story has two chapters nobody else can claim. This free Corinthians quiz covers both: the 2012 season that brought a first Copa Libertadores and then the Club World Cup against Chelsea, and the Corinthians Democracy of the early 1980s, when Sócrates and his team-mates ran the club by vote under a military dictatorship.
Also here: the 2000 inaugural Club World Championship, the 2007 relegation that the club came back from, Ronaldo Nazário's spell from 2009, and the Derby Paulista.
Two things we checked hard. Rivaldo is often said to have played for Corinthians in 2004 — he didn't, that was Cruzeiro, and his only spell here was a decade earlier. And the club's Copa do Brasil count varies between sources, so no question depends on it.
Every answer is explained. Free, no account, nothing to install.
