The CONCACAF Gold Cup is the championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, contested every two years by the region's national teams. It took its current name and knockout format in 1991, but its lineage runs back to 1963, when the tournament was played as the CONCACAF Championship. Both eras are included below for the complete continental record.

Two nations tower over the competition. Mexico and the United States have shared almost every Gold Cup trophy since 1991, with Mexico moving to a record ten titles after beating the USA in the 2025 final. Canada is the only other side to break their grip, winning as a surprise in 2000. The earlier Championship years were far more open, with Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti and Honduras all lifting the trophy.

The table lists every edition from 1963 to 2025. Note that several early Championship tournaments were decided by a final round-robin group rather than a single final, so the 'runner-up' for those years is the team that finished second in the standings. Recent editions have been co-hosted, most often by the United States and Canada.
